All the power lies with the networks. Even though Corday owns Days or is partial owner, he couldn't prevent NBC from cancelling Days if they chose to.

Exactly. The contract has stipulations in it. They wouldn't just blindly renew the show and allow it to be run into the ground. There has been a lot of casting calls put out, so my guess is that some changes are being made. Whether those will include the writers, time will tell.

Correct he has no power over what NBC does...but he can shop the show to any other network that he wants, without NBC approval (so long as NBC does not renew their licensing with DAYS).

Sony & Corday are the owners of DAYS. Bell does not own any part of DAYS.

Corday Productions owns 1% of Y&R, Bell/Sony split the rest.

Bell owns 100% of B&B however.

Yeah he could do his best to save it by selling it to another network.
